jafabrit is right. You are really getting somewhere new - not somewhere better exactly, but somewhere more complex and evocative. The painting is named after a demon, but to me this person is intensely sympathetic, tragic, pained - like he regrets who he is. It's good stuff, Sunil.
Cicada, Belphegor was the demon of sloth and this was a first in a series of paintings that I had planned on the vices... For some reason I saw sloth there rather than world-weariness...
