Percentage spending of disposable income on art...


An article typical of the Wall Street Journal (profiling the lives of the rich) contained the following chart that was instructive of the spending patterns of rich folks around the world. It is interesting to note that people in Europe and Latin America tend to spend higher on art purchases (as percentages of their disposable incomes) that the rest of the world. For some reason I thought it would be the Americas and Europe.

I'm not surprised at all that North America is only at 15% but hey, did you notice how much money Middle Eastern people spend on jewelry? LOL
